  • Explore an open world, set within an authentic Roman city deep underground.
  • Face moral dilemmas that can literally mean life or death for the people you're attempting to help.
  • Make your own choices to solve problems - using charm, bribery, stealth, and intimidation.
  • The citizen's lives are in your hands, and only you can break the cycle. You need to learn how to exploit the rule, explore, interrogate, and make choices to change the course of the day.

If the rule is broken, everyone dies, and the loop is reset. The city is occupied by twenty-three citizens who are trapped in a time loop, living with the mysterious Golden Rule. You play as a time traveller who has been drawn to events two-thousand years in the past, to an underground city within the Roman Empire. Developed by Modern Storyteller, the game will feature a fresh orchestral score and professional voice acting when it releases later this year. After receiving the National Writers’ guild award, and having been downloaded three million times, The Forgotten City has been re-imagined as its own standalone game. To me, it seems like the ideal ending, I can come back anytime I want, and my house is still there. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is known for having plenty of incredible mods, and The Forgotten City is one that has had its fair share of fanfare. I ended up in front of Altrius looking at a statue, and he explained him to me that the city is thriving, and that the sun under the earth dissapeared, and the ceiling opened up. After I got out of the lakehouse, I went straight to the Arbiter and scared him ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ after I showed him his helmet, convincing him to terminate the Law. That broke the Law, so I went to the lakehouse with the Jarl again and reset the quest. I got out of the lakehouse, went to see the Jarl and talked for the 'first' time and told him I broke the Dwarven Law blah blah, went into the tunnel with the Immaculate armor on, found the Arbiter and killed him after talking to him (although I could have persuaded him to terminate the Law) and took his helmet. Here's the way I did it ( SPOILERS AHEAD, SPOILERS AHEAD):įound all the Immaculate Dwarwen pieces (except the chest), talked to the Jarl, accused Rykas, led him to the tunnels, killed him (breaking the Dwarven Law in the process), took the armor, went to the lakehouse with the Jarl (basically resetting the quest).
